Rate D(appears as D1 on your bill)

Applicability: Only for small industrial usage, for example, workshops, etc., excluding air conditioning units, where the customer’s contract demand is between 10 KW and 50 KW.

Character of Service: Alternating current, three-phase, 60 hertz. Use of power is permitted for the entire day (24 hours) unless otherwise specified. The supplied electricity goes through a meter that registers the usage in kilowatt hours (kWh) and the meter is also equipped with a KW maximum indicator. The customer will be charged the minimum amount of Afl. 75.00 per consumption period even though the use of power is less than this amount. The consumption period is the cycle of approximately 30 days between two meter readings.
