Large commercial Rate
RateAfl. 0.5236
Fixed chargeAfl. 10.50/installed KVA

Large commercial customers have 500 kVA installed capacity or more. The large commercial rate structure is divided into two separate components:

1. A monthly Fxed Amount (Afl. 10,50 @ kVA) based on the installed power ("kVA"). This is the capacity of the installation requested by the customer and validated and  approved by the DTI  and N.V. Elmar. If the monthly registered kVA peak is higher than the installed power ("kVA") the fixed amount for that particular month will be Afl. 10,50 @ kVA based on the registered kVA.

Example: Installed "kVA" is 1000kVA and the registered peak is less than 1000 kVA. The monthly fixed amount will be 1000 x Afl. 10,50 = Afl. 10.500,00. If the registered peak was 1050 kVA the fixed amount for that month will be 1050 x Afl. 10,50 = Afl. 11.025,00.

2. A monthly kWh demand or energy usage of Afl. 0,5463 per kWh. This is a flat rate for each kWh used.

Further each DB user will have their own specific monthly kVA / kWh resulting in a monthly overall price per kWh which can be different for each month.

Example: DB client with 1000 kVA installed in October: registered 910 kVA and 300.000 kWh

1.000 x Afl. 10,50 = Afl. 10,500,00

300.000 x Afl. 0,5463 = 163,890

Total bill: Afl. 174,390
